De Lofoten stonden al een paar seizoenen op mijn verlanglijstje, dus ik hoefde niet lang na te denken toen ik de mogelijkheid kreeg om aan te sluiten bij wat boardmaatjes die met Ripstar. Die kant op zouden gaan. De weersvoorspellingen waren voor vertrek niet veelbelovend en dat we in de regen op het vliegveld van Narvik aankwamen was ook niet bijzonder hoopgevend. Acht man plus gear in de gehuurde Transit gepropt en op naar de Lofoten ski lodge. Vanwaar we de eerste dagen op pad zouden gaan.
